Gracall’s First Christmas Party

It was a simple gathering yet worth remembering since it was our very first Christmas Party as a company. Everybody enjoyed the party. We had games, a lot of food and laughter and of course gift giving. 🙂

The pantry was graced for the occasion and we took photos before the party started. Camwhores as always. Ano pa?

The boys 🙂

OMG. Like I am so FAT! Fail!

While waiting for the food to be served..

TL Nikki was so surprised when we caught him eating by himself already. Haha!

Here comes the food..

My monito, Kenneth 🙂

We also had raffles for mobile phones and some basket of goodies.

Biboy won the Cherry Mobile Phone

while Jules won the basket of goodies. Congrats guys 🙂

Parteeeyyyyy 🙂

The party lasted until 3pm, I think. We were so full and tired. Tired of laughing our asses out and of course dahil diretso kami after shift that day but it was all fun and everybody enjoyed it so much. I won a stuffed pig na kaaway ng mga Angry Birds and a 500 bill from my Monito. Effort niya dba? Haha! It’s okay ’cause I didn’t write anything on my wishlist kasi wala akong maisip so sabi ko sa kanya “Perahin mo na lang” Haha!

Moved to the 11th

The long wait is over. Though our office is not that completely finish, we moved from the 20th already. The new office is now fully operational but the amenities are not ready for use yet. The pantry is not that cool, the sink is nowhere to be found. Lame! According to our Team Leader, the building’s administrators are very strict regarding punching holes on the walls and constructing sinks and comfort rooms. That is why there were some things that were not permitted.

Our new place is very huge and cozy. Alog alog nga lang dahil konti lang kami and we don’t have no idea if they’re planning to expand the campaign for now.

We were not supposed to be on this photo. Haha! Sorry Jean 🙂

Yves + Nat

Love group photo 🙂

After shift, Jacqui and I headed to Healthway Clinic at Market Market to have our pre employment medical exams. I want to have that topic on a separate blog but I didn’t take any photos for I was so tired and sleepy. Plus, nakaka-stressed yung nag-physical exam sakin. Parang minolestiya lang ako. Amp!

I took these photos when we had lunch while waiting for the doctors to be back on duty because they were out for lunch too, I think..

Meet Mike. He was the waiter assigned to serve our food. Haha!

We were so hungry and Jacqui doesn’t want to have lunch sa mga fastfood for a change so we decided to have it at Pizza Hut 🙂 The place was still cozy though it’s crowded when we got there.

Cam whoring while waiting for our food 🙂

Finally, after waiting for like 15 minutes, lunch was served. I had Carbonara and Jacqui had some pasta with olive oil, I forgot what it’s called. Hehe! I was not able to take a photo of Jacqui’s food because she ate it as soon as served. Haha! We also had Meat Lovers for our Pizza and we end up so full 🙂

After we ate, I still had troubles pooping for my sample specimen so we decided to go home. Jacqui met up with her husband and her cute son Xander first after she walked me to the parking lot to wait for the Fort Bus, it was raining cats and dogs then. There.. Had a long day but it was all fun 🙂

The Extinction of Christmas Cards

“Big things come in small packages.”

True indeed because nowadays, I consider greetings cards, most specifically Christmas cards as one of those things that were already forgotten specially with the kind of technology that we have right now. With all those iPads, cellphones and those stuff that I may say, made our life easier, we tend to overlook the idea of exerting an effort to let other people know how we feel about them.

I couldn’t even recall the last time I have received a greeting card or a letter from somebody else aside from my Hubby of course. I used to received loads of them from relatives and friends back then but for some reasons, as years gone by, they became lesser and lesser every occasion.

People were being contented in just sending out text messages which is the most convenient way of saying what you wanna say. E-cards are also used in replacement of sending an actual card because most people I know, wouldn’t want to go over the hassle of going to the post office to send a card for somebody.

With that it saddened me to know that because of technology and the fast pace of our lives right now, we forget those things that are still meaningful no matter how little they are. It still feels good to keep something like a greeting card on a memorabilia box and read it after  a year or 2 when it was given to you. This makes me feel good because I’m the kind of person who keeps even the littlest of things specially if it’s from someone dear to me and dig it after ages that they were hidden and reminisce the good memories that comes with them. You know, it gives you the feeling of warmth inside.

This Christmas, I’ll swear I’ll try to send out cards to my love ones and if I’ll have time, I want to extend an effort not to buy them but make them myself. I think it would mean way a lot if I personalized them, specially the designs and the messages that I’ll include on the cards. I wanna receive Christmas cards too 🙂 I think that’s a good idea specially that everybody is having a very tight budget this year. Anyway, it’s the thought that still counts. 🙂

Wake me up when November ends..

Hey, It’s been a month since I last posted something on here. Been busy with a lot of things seriously. November was such a bitch, I may say. It all started when I have to go to work November 1st which was supposed to be a holiday and a time to be with the family. I spent the whole day working and the rest of the days seems to have followed the trend. I had some issues with my complicated schedule as well. It sucks bigtime.

These photos were taken November 1st:

My fave spot, beside the window 🙂

Si Ate Cleo, pretending to be busy. Haha!

and we were so lazy to be working on a holiday.. arghhh.

This is why I love the spot by the window 🙂

I’m so into the sky whenever I feel tired and drained. There’s something in it that makes me feel good inside. It actually calms my soul and mind in a snap.

And the cam whoring continued..

I also took photos of our new office in Taguig. Well, we are currently on the 20th floor and soon we will be moving on the 11th. We are just waiting for the entire floor to be organized and fixed with all the connections and stuff.

This is the reception

Elevator. Hehe 🙂

BFF Chris

Since I had troubles keeping my schedule in mind, I made this:

My schedule for the rest of December 🙂

Though I’m really having a hard time adjusting to my new schedule, I’m so glad that I’ll be in rest days for the important days of this month and probably will catch up in blogging.  It was changed from 5pm to 1am! Lame! November schedule sucks! I even had those days that I had interchanged my schedules and end up messing my log ins so I came up with this idea of keeping my own copy. Unless they decided (again) to change it and inform us a day ahead. Oh! That’s awful! Well, as they say, if you can’t do something about it better stop complaining or start moving. I’ll keep my blog site posted for exciting things December has to offer 🙂

Trick or Treat on our 4th year ♥

We decided to celebrate Halloween and our 4th year anniversary at my parent’s place with the whole family. Simple dinner but everything turned out perfect. Ang saya lang ng picture picture namin 🙂 I bought glowing horns for the kids and to our surprise, my brother Jayar bought some glasses with weird brows and glowing noses. It matches the horns I bought.

Mom + Dad

Hindi naman obvious na naenjoy ng Mom ko ang glowing horns nia? Hihi 🙂

Me and my Sister Cayse

Heaven + Heather

With my inaanak, Heather ❤

Sean +Iya

My nephew Sean doesnt want his pictures taken. “Nahihiya ako ee.” Sabi niya. Haha! But I insist at kinulit ko siya ng sobra kaya ayan nagpapicture din.

With baby Heaven ❤

I was like all smile only to realize na hindi pala nakikita yung smile ko because of the big glowing nose. Fail! Haha!

That’s my sister Cayse and her daughter Heather. Same pose huh? Like mother, like daughter. They’re so cute! Hihi 🙂

Unfortunately, my husband Mint was so busy with something else when we took the photos. That’s why he was not there. Corny niya lang. Anyway, I saw this Tapsilogan just nearby. The Halloween decorations are so nice, I can’t help not to take photos 🙂

The entrance is guarded by this couple. Haha!

That’s me. Pasimpleng pumoposing 🙂

Effort ang decorations nila inside. They’ve hanged a home made spider at the ceiling and they have covered their lights with Jack-o-Lanterns just to give that dim look. I also love the mini witches and the cobwebs that look so real.

Confession of a Cab-A-Holic

I really don’t wanna blog about this since this is way too embarrassing but these would be something that I’ll be laughing in the future when recalled. Honestly, these brought tears in my eyes, actually tears of a scared lost cat. Haha! These unfortunate events started when I finally got a new job in Taguig, The Fort in Global City to be exact. I’m not really familiar with the place since I always hail a cab whenever I wanna go somewhere there so commuting for me is scary. First day was a breeze since I hailed a cab as usual. I arrived I think 30 minutes ahead of time so I had all the time to relax and make chika with my friends. Second day was like the start of my own version of “Series of Unfortunate Events”. It’s like hating Union Bank all day. It was supposed to be a happy day since its payday but it turned out to be so annoying. The money is usually out around 2pm every payday but when we checked, the money was still not available. I got really scared since I thought that my money was held by my previous employer for not showing up at work. Then I got a text message from a friend that Compensation and Benefits Dept was having troubles in releasing the salary and it’ll be out by 5pm. I was like “WTF!”. I got no money left, even change and the fact that I need to be at work 7pm that day so there.. Cab again. 3rd day. Finally, I decided to be a commuter. I gathered self-confidence then off I went. From what I thought was the easiest route, I headed to Shaw Blvd in Mandaluyong. I rode a jeepney from Kalentong to Starmall then waited for buses along EDSA. I’m really scared of riding buses along EDSA since most of the people I know tagged them as “Killer Buses” for they drive so fast like you need to say your last prayer before it’s too late. So there, I stood there waiting. A bus stopped in front of me so I asked the driver’s assistant if that particular bus will pass through the Ayala MRT station and he said it will so I got on the bus and found a comfortable seat just beside the door so I wont be squeezed by some of the passengers and I’ll be able to get off easily. The bus passed through the stretch of EDSA and squeezed into loads of vehicles. Same shit everyday. Traffic. I checked my watch and smiled as I still have enough time to bear with the traffic. I started to panic when the bus passed through a tunnel instead of maintaining its way through EDSA. I calmed myself by thinking that I’ll just get off the bus at the nearest bus stop but the bus continued moving all the way to a huge flyover. I don’t know what to do anymore. I don’t even know the places where the bus was going through already. I started reading billboards and signs on the way. To my surprise, I read a sign that the road the bus was taking will take us to the Skyway at the south bound. I felt so helpless and I really wanted to cry. I’m looking for signs of any bus stop but those were nowhere to be found. I found myself already in tears but I tried my best to hide it to avoid getting attention from other passengers. I’m really upset that I’ll be late for work and the thought of being lost somewhere far scares me. I got a lot of things in my head that I didn’t notice that the bus was slowly moving already. It stopped in a crowded place. To my relief, I saw a mall that looks familiar.. SM Bicutan. WTF! I am on Bicutan! I got off the bus and followed some passengers who were walking towards the mall. I asked the mall security officer for a nearby cab lane and he gave me instructions. I’m already running towards the cab lane since I only have 30 minutes left on my clock before my shift starts. Cab again.. I was caught in the middle of traffic since it’s rush hour already. The cab driver was so nice to look for alternate routes so I wont be late that much. Unfortunately, the cab that I am on was hit by a car that’s driving his way to hell. The good thing was, I’m not badly hurt aside from some muscle pains in my back and legs. They argued first before we continued on our way. Finally, The Fort. I was late for almost an hour. Lame! Id swear that I won’t be riding a bus in EDSA again especially when I’m alone. The next day was again a part of the series. I was thinking of a better route so I decided to take Makati instead. I left the house 2 hours and 30 minutes ahead of my schedule shift thinking it would be enough for me not to be late but again I was wrong.. I’ve considered taking the LRT then MRT but I’m afraid it’ll be crowded so I took a bus in Buendia. Traffic was overrated! Aside from that, the bus crawled throughout Makati to hitch passengers. I’ve thought of taking a cab again but I’ve stopped myself from doing so because I realized that I won’t ever learn how to commute by myself if I’ll consider that option. Waiting for the bus to move took ages. Finally, I saw the flyover where buses will turn right so I got off the bus in Glorietta and started brisk walking all the way to the MRT Ayala station. While walking, a lot of cabs stopped alongside. It’s like they’re inviting me or some sort but I refused the idea, checked the time and walked as fast as I could. Well, in fairness I arrived 15 minutes late. Much better than the day that I got lost in Bicutan.

Came Friday.. we already had access to the Biometrics (the finger scanning thing) so I need to make sure that I wont be late ever again or it’ll be deducted on my working hours. I have decided to take the MRT this time, being squeezed out inside the train is really not my concern anymore. I took a jeepney from Kalentong to Shaw again, then took the MRT. Thank God the train was not that crowded or the series has its finale already? Haha! Got off the train from the Ayala station and took the Fort bus. I was so proud of myself when I found out that I arrived 15 minutes ahead of my schedule. If only I have tried to take the MRT from the start and tried commuting every now and then, I wont have gone through all of that crap. If only.. If only.. Well, as they say.. regrets always says hello at each end. Haha! I have made my friends and my husband proud too when they learned that I was able to reached the office without taking a cab. I swear from now on that I’ll try to commute around so this will not happen again.

This is the photo I took from the 20th floor when I arrived. I was able to catch the sunset this time. Yiheeee 🙂

Back to Basic.

New environment.. New people (but not all of them though) Positive energy through out. Welcome to my new life. Haha! We started the day with a surprise, long, mind bugging reviewer exam for the FF peeps. At first, we were under the impression that they’ll use the exam results to gauge or to know the specific things they’ll need to focus on training but apparently, we’re wrong! It was announced that everyone who passed the exam will start dialing the next day. I’m torn between being excited to take in calls again and at the same time sad because I’ll not be able to petix in training anymore unlike the others. Haha!

I was complaining about these photos though because when I took their photos.. it’s perfect but when it comes to our photo, it was like blurry or something. Loser! Haha!

Call it stolen 🙂

The view from the 20th floor of the Picadilly Building in The Fort, Taguig. Don’t mind the droplets from the window, it rained. I missed the rainbow.. Too bad.

Sweetness.. 🙂

When we say Cam Whoring.. Were dead serious! Haha 🙂

After the first day, 6 of us were transferred to the night shift to take in calls while the rest will take a 1 week training I believe.. but we’ll get to see them sooner than they think. Haha! Bitterness..

A Shot To Remember..

Specifically, since It-must-not-be-named already called and scheduled some of us for training first thing on my Monday, we have decided to end our Friday shift with a bang. Drinking session at noon. EPIC! Drink till someone didn’t know where his house is. That’s the agenda! Haha! .. and we have succeed! 🙂

Unbuttoning? What the? 😮 SO GAY! 😀

I don’t want to go on with the session’s details because of some secrets revealed and scenes that were explicit! Haha! Kidding. Too bad that I have spent just 2 weeks with some of them since I need to go on with my life and go somewhere I’m pretty sure that I’ll be happy. Goodbyes are really not my favorite part of life but I can get by, I know. I’ll be missing them specially my FF friends that needs to stay behind for the meantime and just for the meantime. Well, this is really gonna be A Shot to Remember 🙂

From Skinny to Piggy Ü

“Men thought that Women’s dream is to find the right guy.. Well, they’re absolutely WRONG! Yeah right, our dream is to EAT WITHOUT GETTING FAT.”

This is a quote that I saw on Twitter and it made me look back on the days that I was so skinny. First photo was taken I think 4 or 6 years ago. Haha! Those were the days that I’m still single, party all night and will be sleeping all day. Skipping meals for that matter. My Mom always remind me to eat but then again due to my hectic schedule, I barely eat a full meal. I usually go with those easy to eat stuff like crackers and biscuits but I always made sure to eat a meal for breakfast and that’s it. My friends were asking if I have Anorexia or something but I never intended to go on a diet. That’s really not my thing. I guess it’s just because of the life style I had before or maybe because I’m not really healthy. I can’t even say that my metabolism rate is high. As much as I wanted to eat a lot, I have no time and situations back then doesn’t permits me to. Funny right but that’s true.

Then came my Hubby. Fave hobby: EATING! 2nd photo was taken just recently. I’m still working minus “The Party All Night” part. He always takes care of what I need. I am his baby 🙂 We eat a lot when were together so from having 24 as my waistline, it blew up to 29. Haha! I have no regrets though. Honestly speaking, I still envy those skinny girls once in a while that they can wear whatever they wanna wear and flaunt what they have but I believe that being sexy is not all about the appearance though. The word Sexy is an attitude. I’m not on a diet right now and not planning to in the near future. I love to eat and my husband love me for what I am and that is the only thing that matters.

While composing this blog I’ve stumbled upon this video which was pretty much related to my blog and it’s really funny.

Best way for girls to lose weight 😀

Ahlie’s Birthday ♥

It has been 9 years already. Time flies so fast.. I still remember the time when he’s still our little baby. Now, our little pumpkin has grown up to be an adorable boy. We celebrated his birthday at my parent’s house with the whole family 🙂

Baby Ahlie’s birthday cake 🙂

He loves Spongebob so I bought the Halloween Bucket Meal from KFC that features it. He was surprised when I handed him the tumblers 🙂

Our birthday boy ❤

Goofing around with the Birthday Boy and my niece Heatherly 🙂

I’ve deleted the photo of him blowing the candle though since it was blurry. Crap! We have attended the night mass to thank Him for another year for our boy too and bought him a toy helicopter on our way home. The day turned out fun as expected. Wish for more birthdays to come for our boy and all the love in the world.

Here’s Ahlie’s favorite birthday video 🙂
