Yves’ Post Birthday Bash

Yves’ birthday was actually January 10 but we were unable to celebrate it because we were experiencing poverty then. In short, taghirap kami nun. Haha! The nomo session was not really planned but hey it was a blast. We managed to have friends joined our little gathering. We even have out team leader to be there.

Have you notice that it was like a Green party? Like most of us were wearing Green? LOL! That wasn’t planned at all. It was so much fun though there were dramas and all. Haha! Beers were pouring and they’re so drunk. Yeah, THEY were, because I only had 5 bottles of Tanduay Ice and they had 5 cases of Redhorse, I believe. Jules and Yves were so drunk that they didn’t know what they’re doing anymore. LOL! It was a non stop laughter night. Jules slept over at our place since he left his keys at home and the rest headed home by 3 in the morning. We would definitely planned for a repeat soon. That is if our schedules allow it and I hope it does 🙂

Great Buys

I know this is long over due. I’m so lazy with anything and that includes blogging for some reasons. LOL. Anyway, I bought these from my favorite place in the Philippines.. Divisoria 🙂 You could find the best deals there, anything.. from head to toe.

One night, my Hubby and I found ourselves at the Tutuban Night Market. I would love to buy everything that I have laid my eyes on. Everything seems to be great buys and I wouldn’t go home without a nice pair of shoes.

Well, among loads of nice pairs from the stalls, this caught my attention. Aside from the fact that a lot of people wear the same shoes because of the word “uso”. I want to have a pair that’s a little offbeat. While most of the pairs are in floral and reptile skinned, I preferred this pair in white with black stitches on it. It’s light weight plus it can be paired to anything. From slacks to jeans, pants, skirts and shorts. It’s not really considered as a flat since, it has this 1 inch heel, I believe. If you want to see some pairs that I have bought before, you check my previous blog entitled Shoes.. Shoes..

Aside from shoes, I bought this watch too and its my favorite. Haha! This was given to me 2 for Php150 so Hubby has the same thing, its much bigger though. This is available in all the colors from the rainbow but we preferred to have it in white for it will go with anything you wear. It is made in rubber and it’s a snap on. It’s really cute 🙂 Some says that the quality is not good but I think it all depends on how you use it and hey what would you expect from a watch that will cost you 2 for Php150? 🙂

I’m really not a signature buyer when it comes to those things that I’ll definitely wear everyday in other word, yung mga pangharabas but I’m making sure that the things I buy would be great buys. I’ll try to keep my blog posted to other things I find useful specially when it comes to shopping 🙂

Edited Memories

Here’s a collection of our most treasured memories. I compiled them on a file, well this was supposed to be a slideshow from Photobucket and somehow it’s not working anymore so I decided to copied them and post it here. These are our old photos, back when we were still skinny and young? LOL! 🙂

I’m not really sure why the photos looks dark or something but the layout seems good. I’m thinking of printing them out, having them in a collage and framed it but I’m still busy (so lazy to do that. LOL! )

Ati-Atihan Sto. Niño de Pandacan

Viva, Viva Sto. Niño! Viva, Viva Sto. Niño! Viva, Viva Sto. Niño!

Everyone was like chanting that while in the procession of our beloved Sto. Niño. Today is the Feast Day for him and everyone was dressed and graced the streets for the occasion. Every barangay do have their own set of Ati-Atihan and Tamboleros (drummer boys). Ati-atihan means “to be like aetas” or “make-believe ati’s” so people were all painted in black ink or charcoal and everybody were dancing to the tune of the Tamboleros.

The procession started as early as 4am. I came from work and didn’t even bother to sleep since I’m so excited to join the procession. I was even there when they’re still practicing. 🙂

We left our place I think 15 minutes before 5am so we can still have a spot at the church’s ground where all groups will have an assembly before hearing the holy mass.

Sto. Niño de Pandacan Parish Church

This was the scene after the priest declared that the holy mass is over. All the Sto. Niños were raised in the air for the blessing.

That’s our Sto. Niño which we bought in Antipolo last year for the Alay lakad for Semana Santa. I brought him along since everybody had their own and even bought him a new dress 🙂

Kumusta naman ang haggard ako? Ewww.. Wala pa kasing tulog. Deadmakels! 🙂

Mint + Me

This was my favorite piece of the procession. The humungous Sto. Niño 🙂

Our cute niece Kylie after the procession. We bought her a Dora balloon ♥

It was so festive with the dancers, tamboleros and all the people who went to the procession. I really enjoyed it though it was tiring and it was really crowded. Like pede mo na i-nose to nose yung kaharap mo. I pity those kids and babies that were tagged along by their parents, naiipit sila and na-exposed sa kung ano anong amoy. It’s not really advisable na magdala ng mga kids specially babies sa mga ganitong okasyon. Maybe mag-attend na lang ng mass after ng procession para maluwag na. Hindi ko na din maramdaman yung mga paa ko sa sobrang sakit because I stood there for like 5 hours but the pain is worth it. I’m really sure that I’ll be doing this again next year. Viva Santo Niño! 🙂

Milestone of a Warrior

This is for my friend Ranee, her son had been diagnosed with stage 3 Osteosarcoma (the most common type of bone cancer). As of this time Reilly is undergoing series of chemo therapy sessions and a lot of medications. They need help.. Prayers and financially. As we all know, medications for this kind of illness will cost a man his fortune and life.

Reilly is a warrior so let’s help him win his fight..

His family is currently organizing a fundraising project for Reilly. Let’s help him for this. For more information, please visit the Official Facebook page of Team Reilly: https://www.facebook.com/I.Support.Reilly, the Facebook page will include updates on his development and details of how you can help him. Let’s support Team Reilly.

For him, I am sincerely praying..

Dear Lord,

You know Reilly so much better than we do. You know his sickness and the burden he carries. You also know his heart. Lord, I ask you to be with Reilly now as you work in his life. Lord, let your will be done in Reilly’s life.

Lord, I pray for Reilly just as your Word tells me to pray, for healing. I believe you hear this earnest prayer from my heart and that it is powerful because of your promise. I have faith in you, Lord, to heal Reilly, but I also trust in the plan you have for his life.

I ask that you look with mercy and grace toward Reilly. Nourish his spirit and soul in this time of suffering and comfort him with your presence.

Let Reilly know you are there with him through this difficulty. Give him strength. And may you, through this difficulty, be glorified in his life and also in mine.

This I pray in Jesus name.. Amen.

Surprise Visit..

It was a lazy day and all I wanted to do was bum at home, then suddenly felt the need to go out and stroll somewhere. Mint and I were already preparing to go out when my best friend Oleng called me and told me that they’re on their way at our place. BOOM! Lakwatsa canceled. Booze all night activated. LOL! 😀

Ang bad ko talaga. I forgot her name. LOL! She was Renren’s friend. Sorry! My bad.. Oleng in white 🙂

It was all fun because I super missed them. Tagal na kasi naming walang get together so the night was filled with memories and reminiscing from our gimiks nuon. It was really a blast from the past. Too bad need nila umuwi ng maaga so it ended na 1 on 1 kami ni Mint to finish all the booze that we bought that night. Haha! 🙂

Goodbye 2011.. Hello 2012!

Celebrated New Year at my parent’s house with the whole family. It was so much fun because everyone were there plus celebrating it in Tondo, Manila? Priceless. 😀 Most of the photos were foggy dahil sa usok ng mga firecrackers from outside. Lame!

Sumptuous media noche from my Aunt house. I was so full 🙂

Sobrang saya to celebrate New Year’s eve with my family and the rest of the Gremio Clan. Wishing for good health and a prosperous New Year for everybody. I super love them all.

As of now, I still don’t have a list of my New Year’s resolution except for losing weight. LOL. Maybe I wont have any this year. I’ll just see to it that I wont be as pasaway as last year. Surely there’s no place like home when it comes to celebrating occasions like this.

Happy New Year to all 😀
