I have recently acquired this obsession in doing nail arts. I used to wear my fingernails long, but it gets uneasy soon enough so I have to cut it short. I’m really fond of doing kikay stuff, but before, I’ve left it all to the manicurist do it for me ’cause I really don’t have an idea how it works. Just weeks ago, my friend Sheika brought her nail art kit at work and everybody’s gone gaga over it. I just can’t believe how easy it was for her do it. I bought my own kit for only P35 Php and it’s like a beginner’s kit. It’s not really like those fancy nail art kits that you could buy at department stores though, but it’s a good start especially for starters like me.

Being creative this Halloween
I know this is a bit tinny winny late, but I so missed blogging since I haven’t blog in a while. My last blog post is exactly two months ago, I believed. Nevertheless, I’m back! 🙂
I got so many ideas to post, but I will start from spending Halloween, I guess. I have not gone at a cemetery to visit relatives who passed away because I’m kind of feeling a bit under the weather, which is so lame since my three days off from work has been approved. So there, I’m stuck watching cartoons at home. Yeah, I know it’s not really normal that you watch cartoons while everybody’s watching horror stuff.
I. Don’t. Like. Watching. Horror. Stuff. Especially. If. It’s. Halloween. I couldn’t stress it more. LOL! Nightmares are the least that I want to have. Go KungFu Panda ♥ No Halloween parties this time too so out of pure boredom, I looked for something fun to do other than watching cartoons.
Sprinkled with Love
I’m not really into love novels because I’m more of a fantasy/adventure reader. I love those books the like of the Percy Jackson or Harry Potter series, like I said this for the nth time. There are love angles on the PJ and HP series, but it’s so minimal that you will enjoy the adventure more. It’s more of a kick or a twist to make the story more fascinating. Lately, I’m struggling to find a good read, I created an account on Goodreads so I won’t be outdated for bestseller books. I was browsing books when I stumbled upon these books that have amazing covers. For me, a good cover add up to a book’s value contrary to the saying “Don’t judge the book by its cover.” A writer could not expect that his book will sell if he wrapped it on an old newspaper clip. Could he? Anyway, I read two sets of series this past week. Both of them were adventure/fantasy kinds of stuff, but they’re sprinkled with a great deal of love. Two totally different worlds and stories, but both thrilling and adventure packed I may say.
Anna Banks‘ book covers are so striking and beyond beautiful. That’s the first thing that I have noticed when I stumbled upon her books. I read the plot and it immediately hit me that this is one of those books that’s obviously yelling for “And they lived happily ever after..” and I love it right away,
blame it to Disney. Plus the fact that I’m fascinated with mermaids and under the sea adventure since Disney made The Little Mermaid movie and it’s sequel.
Happy 2nd Birthday to my Blog! Ü
Three days ago marked the 2nd birthday of my blog! Well, this specific blog since I have a couple of other blogs from different websites before. It has been 2 years of memories and fun! Though my stats have fluctuated this past few months, that did not bother me at all since I consider this as my public journal and it’s not like a Facebook status where you expect a viewer to like it or comment on it. I have always kept my blog posts positive since I want this to be my memory keeper; those memories that I can back read and smile. I am so over those days that I had to keep them on a notebook! Thanks for technology!
I have gathered some photos from my previous blogs which commonly depict my personality and what mostly composed my blog.

At first I’m torn between reading it and looking for something else to read. The plot of the story is somehow boring and predictable. The title itself, one way or another, gives everything out. It’s like you just need to figure out where the snags are injected. The book cover is interesting though. It takes an eye catching cover, enthralling plot and noteworthy title for a book to be worth reading. Well, not for all but this time.. for me. Some would rather say “Don’t judge the book by it’s cover”. I just saw this book on a giveaway promo from Saab Magalona’s blog to her avid readers. Since I don’t have anything interesting to read for the longest time since I’ve finished reading the Percy Jackson’s books, I gave it a shot.
Something about the Clouds..
I’m really not feeling well today, it’s unexplainable. Maybe this is one of those days that a person could feel so gloomy for nothing. Just out of the blue. I’m pretty sure that I’m not physically ill. I really could use a bag full of chocolates right now or an ice cream tub perhaps. When I look outside the window, these clouds makes me feel better..
BFF’s Birthday Blast
Like every year my best friend Jacqui always see to it that her birthday celebration would be a blast. This year, we had an arrangement with a friend who’s co-owner, if I’m not mistaken, of a bar called Classique Bar at The Home Depot in Ortigas. It’s a weekday so we need to have the bar’s operating hours extended until five in the morning since Jacqui’s shift would end at 12 midnight. She invited our close friends from work and YES! WE HAD A BLAST! Ü

What’s in A Bag?
After years of blogging, yes, here’s my version of the so-called “What’s in A Bag?”. I haven’t thought of it before because I don’t have so much in my bag. Just the usual things that you would bring that’s necessary but I’ll do this anyway. Haha!
This is how my bag looks like. I’m into big bags and those pieces that’s usually black or nude in color but this is an exemption, this is a gift from my Aunt. It looks small but it’s roomy, it has three partitions inside. The middle part has a zipper so I can keep my important stuff safe since the actual bag only has a magnet button to keep it close. Funny thing is, I only keep my make up in it so it won’t mess up my other stuff.
I am Daughter of Poseidon
I wish I am but I’m not. Haha! 😃 I just got this Percy Jackson series hangover since Rick Riordan didn’t include a Daughter of Poseidon on his books. This is still in relation to my “I want to be a mermaid when I grew up” syndrome. Yeah, I know this is crazy but if you are a regular reader of this blog, you would understand. I got this cute Daughter of Poseidon photo on DeviantArt, credit goes to pjatosuperfanfiction. They named her Taylor, I love it but I think it would be better if it’s Aqua or something *just saying 😊
