Emalie of the Book Gatherer tagged me on this, but this is originally from Books and Palettes.
It sounds fun so I want to try it. To be honest, I don’t usually go out wearing make up because I don’t feel comfortable with it. 😀 I’m really not your makeup kinda girl, but this looks cool though.
I’m feeling extra creative today so I’ve made this button just for this tag. Isn’t it cute? 😀
Here’s the Questions:
1. Eyeliner: Tell us about a book that defines who you are or that means a lot to you personally, and then show us your favorite eyeliner.
Defines who I am? That’s pretty difficult, but a book that means a lot to me would be..
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince: This is where Albus Dumbledore died. I cried bucket of tears. It’s just heartbreaking that I had a hard time moving on. I know it’s just a book, but man.. Losing Dumbledore is such a bummer. This means a lot to me because this is also where the realization of all or most of the complications on this series were revealed so yeah, this means a whole lot to me.
Avon Simply Pretty Liquid Eyeliner: This is my favorite liquid eyeliner. I just recently learned how to use an eyeliner and make those cat eyes. I’m a late bloomer, I may say. LOL 😀
2. Mascara: You can’t leave the house without mascara. It brightens your eyes and makes you look more awake after a night of not-so-much sleep. What’s one book you stayed up late to read? Then, show us your favorite mascara.
Don’t Look Back: I stayed up until three in the morning for this awesome book. It’s sooo intense that I couldn’t put it down. I love it 🙂
ELF Volumizing Mascara: This keeps my eyelashes thick and curly the whole day when I applied it. Really easy to remove too. 🙂
3. Lip Balm: The best lip balms are sweet and smooth. Give us a sweet, easy read. Then, show us your favorite lip balm.
Alienated: This book is an easy read for me. Little complications and it made me giddy at some point. Sweet? Hmm. I think so. 😀
Nivea Fruity Shine in Cherry: I love this balm. Tastes so yummy. It leaves a light shimmer and color so if you’re feeling a bit lazy to put on lipstick, this would to the trick.
4. Concealer: A book you are embarrassed to say you’ve read or own.
I don’t have any book that I’m embarrassed with. Simply because I don’t buy books that I don’t want 🙂 Anyway, I’ll still share this concealer.
Ever Bilena Concealer Stick: I don’t usually use concealer so you will likely see me looking like a racoon with my dear eye bags on a daily basis, but I had this before. Use it once then eventually give up. LOL 😀
5. Nail Polish: Nail polish is like an accessory. Show us a book with a beautiful cover. Then, show us what is on your nails, if anything..
The Perilous Sea: I’ve always thought that this book’s cover is so amazing. Who wouldn’t agree? 😀
OPI Nail Lacquer in Black Onyx: I’m not goth or anything, but I love my nails black or in nude color. Not really into colorful ones.
6. Sunscreen: Sunscreen goes hand in hand with the beach. Show us a book that takes place at or near a beach. Also, what are your favorite beach reads?
Percy Jackson’s The Lightning Thief: The Camp Half-Blood is in Long Island Sound right? Is it a beach? I think it’s a river. Sorry. LOL! That’s the first thing that I could think of. Haha! 😀
Favorite beach reads: Anything that I’m currently reading.
7. Makeup Remover: Sometimes the look you create is disappointing, so you break out the makeup remover to clear the evidence. What is a book you wanted to like that ended up disappointing you?
Seven Wonders: Lost in Babylon: I can’t find the words to explain why this book disappointed me. Perhaps you could read my review for this: Book Review: Seven Wonders: Lost in Babylon
I had so much fun doing this. Hadn’t realized til now that I’m not so conscious about how I look. Couldn’t even believe I was able to accomplished this since I’ve got nothing to share when it comes to beauty stuff. LOL!
Here’s my nominations:

The button is really cute 🙂 (Can I use it on my tag too?) I’m not a make-up kinda girl either, but I wanted to do the tag 😉
I totally know what you mean concealer-wise, I’m way to lazy to use it and my skin is too light, so I always look kinda odd 😀
Of course you can use it 🙂
I really dont have the patience for make up. LOL 🙂
I think I know how you felt with Dumbledore. My whole class in primary school read this book at once so we could all be sad together. It was nice in a really weird way 😀
I agree. I was so sad back when Ive read it and I still feel sad about it everytime I see this book.
Yay!! Thanks so much for doing my tag! I love the button by the way 🙂
P.S Don’t Look Back was amazing! One of my personal favorites
Glad you like the button and hey thats one of my favorites too 🙂
