The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
Nothing share worthy this past week. It has been dull. I have been on a routine (my daily routine really) like wake up, eat breakfast, go to work, come home from work, read a couple of chapters (current read), check notifications on my blog (and/or social networking accounts), do little house chores/mommy duties, try to read again and then finally go to sleep. Geez. That sucks right? LOL. No Halloween parties for me since I (still) need to work during the holidays. I only wish that I could have Christmas and New Year off from work (fingers crossed). How have you been this past week? 😀

“Thyra Winther’s seventeen, the Snow Queen, and immortal, but if she can’t reassemble a shattered enchanted mirror by her eighteenth birthday she’s doomed to spend eternity as a wraith. Armed with magic granted by a ruthless wizard, Thyra schemes to survive with her mind and body intact. Unencumbered by kindness, she kidnaps local boy Kai Thorsen, whose mathematical skills rival her own. Two logical minds, Thyra calculates, are better than one. With time rapidly melting away she needs all the help she can steal. A cruel lie ensnares Kai in her plan, but three missing mirror shards and Kai’s childhood friend, Gerda, present more formidable obstacles. Thyra’s willing to do anything – venture into uncharted lands, outwit sorcerers, or battle enchanted beasts — to reconstruct the mirror, yet her most dangerous adversary lies within her breast. Touched by the warmth of a wolf pup’s devotion and the fire of a young man’s desire, the thawing of Thyra’s frozen heart could be her ultimate undoing.”

I know I’ve sworn to get three books a week,
but then I received Stone Cold Touch so sorry, I’m not sorry 😀
Do you have a Sunday Post too? Please leave your links on the comment box. I’ll check them out 😀
Linking this up with Stacking the Shelves
I keep seeing Armentrout around and am definitely going to have to move her books up my TBR! Sometimes a boring week isn’t a bad thing so hopefully it was at least a happy boring week. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you about not working Thanksgiving or Halloween. Have a great week!
Thanks for the good wishes. LOL! Perhaps you could try reading Armentrout’s and we could share thoughts 🙂 Have a great week! ♥
You had a full week of blogging. I really liked your review for The Iron Trial and loved the Sleeping Beauty GIF you included. Have a great week!
I’m so glad you like my review. I love including Disney GIFS 😀 Have a great week! ♥
Good luck getting the holidays off! Atlantia looks interesting, I like the underwater angle. Hope Crown of Ice is a good one.
I’ve posted my review for Crown of Ice 🙂
I’ve been seeing a lot about Atlantia. I’m on the fence about it but maybe I should take another look. And I’m seeing Armentrout everywhere! I have got to get started on her books.
Here’s my Sunday Post – http://fuonlyknew.com/2014/11/02/whats-new-on-my-bookshelf-85-and-the-sunday-post/
I’m excited about Stone Cold Touch. Anyway, I’m excited with all my books. LOL! ♥
Some weeks are more routine than others, Nyze, and when they’re kind of boring, it also means that nothing dramatic happened, right? (see what I did there trying to make that sound all positive? 😀 )
You got some great-looking books this week, and you were very busy on your blog, too. I hope you’ll love your new books, and that next week will be awesome 🙂
I love your positivity! 😀 I’m so excited with my new books and I’m really finding time to fit them all right in on my busy day. Have a great week too ♥
I’ve seen Atlantia around. I’m curious to see how good it is. I’m hoping my library gets it in soon. I hope you enjoy your reads!! 😀
I’m pretty excited to read it too. Thanks for dropping by ♥
Looks like another busy week on you blog. I hope you enjoy your new books and the rest of your week.
Sharon @ Sharon’s Book Nook!
Thanks babe. Hope you enjoy your week too. 🙂
Even though your week was normal and boring it sounds wonderful to me. Sometimes people just want normalcy when going through a sickness or something. I remember my dad was hurt a few years ago and he just wanted to do normal things again. Like cook dinner.. hell just go to the bathroom! So to me.. your week sounds fabulous!
I couldn’t think of anything to say to that. Perhaps I should be thankful that I could still do normal stuff. Thanks babe ♥
I hope you get some time off for the upcoming holidays. Sometimes a routine week is good. Hope this week is a good one for you.
Yeah. Im told 🙂 Have a great week too babe 🙂
I like the instagram pic of the swirly spaghetti! And boring is good sometimes. We went from near 70 F and then yesterday it snowed all day!
Im just a routine hater sometimes. I get this feeling of I-should-do-something-new. I wish it snows here from where I am. A tropical country can suck at times.
Looks mighty good from here!! I love a lot of things about New England except winter.
We love it here during Christmas holidays. Its sunny yet the breeze is cool. My favorite part of the year 🙂
Oooo….Atlantia is amazing!!! Love Ally Condie 🙂
I cant wait to read it 🙂
I have seen Crown of Ice around but wasn’t sure about it, might check out your review of that one. 🙂 Looks like some nice books added to the pile. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by my blog!
Its so Disney. If you know what I mean 🙂 Have a great week too 🙂
I didn’t do anythign special with Halloween either, but then Halloween isn’t as popular here yet. I hope you get Christmas and New Years off work!
Im really hoping too. Have a great week 🙂
Nice line-up of next reads. Enjoy!
Thanks babe! 🙂
Crown of Ice has such a lovely (and “chilly”) cover. Enjoy your books…and thanks for visiting my blog.
Oh chilly indeed. Have a fun week 🙂
Hope this week is a little more exciting than next. Looks like you received some pretty books this week!
I sure did 🙂 Have a fun week babe!
Loop sounds super exiting but the cover… ugh… Have a good week 🙂
Lol! I agree 🙂 Have a fun week 🙂
Four books is still a decent number of books to handle. I hope you’re enjoying Crown of Ice. I thought it was a unique take on that classic fairy tale. Have a great week and thanks for stopping by!
Id set a limit for getting books. Ive got tons of unread ones but I cant help it. Ive enjoyed the book. You can check my review if you want 🙂 Have a fun week 🙂
I never EVER stick to my own book rules either. And I have lots of loopholes just to justify those extra books :O
LOL! Im so behind in reading because of hoarding. I think I need to take my rules seriously 🙂
I can’t wait to read Atlantia. And I love the cover of Crown of Ice. Great week! Thanks for visiting my post earlier.
I can’t wait to read it too. Have a great week ahead babe ♥
Yay, thanks for featuring me!! Only thing is my name isn’t Jen! Haha, my name is Christina 🙂
Oh my! Thats a fail. I shouldve asked. Ill edit that as soon as I can. My apologize babe. Lol!
Your week may have been boring but it sounds as if you were busy. Lots of lovely new books, enjoy!
Perhaps I said boring cause it happens everyday? I sure have lovely new books. Thanks babe 🙂
Your routine is exactly like mine!! So you are not alone!! I also have Crown of Ice so I’m curious to hear what you think about it (I probably won’t read it for a while). Also I’m curious of what you think of Atlantia. I wasn’t happy with how the Matched series ended so I’m not sure if I want to take a chance on her new book. Maybe I’ll wait until it goes on sale lol. Have a great week =)
Ive posted my review for Crown of Ice. You read it if you want 🙂 I doubt if ill be reading Atlantia any time soon. Still have a lot lined up to read. Have a great week too. 🙂
It may have been a routine week but you sure had a busy blogging one. 🙂
Caroline@Novel Project Chronicles
Thanks for scheduled posts! LOL! 😀
Wow! You had a pretty busy week!
So Im told 🙂
Routine is great! I am a bit slack right now, but with the weather warming up down here, I am sure I will get back into it soon! And Stone Cold Touch is a must have 😉 Enjoy your new reads!
Thanx for visiting My Weekly Wrap-Up!
Naomi @ Nomi’s Paranormal Palace
Weather here is getting colder so this is the laziest part of the year for me. Lol! Thanks babe. Have a great week 🙂
I do hope you don’t have to work during Christmas and New Year’s! And lol at your newly owned book statement. Believe me when I say that I know exactly how you feel about getting a book when you’re supposed to be limiting your book buys, should be feeling sorry for it but you feel exactly the opposite! lol 🙂 Happy reading. Loop looks really great! 🙂
I got tons lined up to read and once I’ve decided not to get books as long as I have unread ones, but it’s so hard. Like trying not to breath. LOL! Have a great week babe ♥
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Crown of Ice looks interesting. I am trying to avoid spending money for books this year, which has resulted in me getting more books from the library and for review rather than simply reducing the number of new books.
We’re pretty much the same. If I’m not buying books, I borrow or look for freebies. LOL. Have a great week 🙂
Great haul! Lailah is one I really want as well. Thanks for visiting my post earlier.
Sounds like a great week to me. 🙂 I prefer routines to anything exciting. Lol. I’m such an old soul. Atlantia looks like an interesting read. I may have to get it from my library.
Ive heard a lot of good things about the book but. I cant promise that I’ll be reading it soon. Got tons lined up to read 🙂
Ha!! I totally commented on this post twice. Just shows how great it is. Lol. 😉
I didn’t notice until you pointed it out. Haha!
Looks like you’ve got some really good books to look forward to 😀
Yeah. Sure do 🙂
Great haul! I hope Loop is awesome! Hope you enjoy your new books and have an awesome week!
Thanks babe! Have a great week too 🙂
Oh, how is Crown Of Ice? I’m so intrigued by that book but haven’t yet decided whether I’m going to pick it up or not!
I hope you find more time to read, and good luck getting those days off! =_
Ive posted my review. You can read it if you want 🙂 You can also check my latest weekly wrap #7 and thank you 🙂
I hope you enjoyed Crown of Ice. I really like what you added to your shelves!! Thanks for stopping by last week. 🙂
I did. The review’s up if you want to read it. Thanks babe ♥
