My Week in a Wrapped #6

SundayPost

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Nothing share worthy this past week. It has been dull. I have been on a routine (my daily routine really) like wake up, eat breakfast, go to work, come home from work, read a couple of chapters (current read), check notifications on my blog (and/or social networking accounts), do little house chores/mommy duties, try to read again and then finally go to sleep. Geez. That sucks right? LOL. No Halloween parties for me since I (still) need to work during the holidays. I only wish that I could have Christmas and New Year off from work (fingers crossed). How have you been this past week? 😀

“Thyra Winther’s seventeen, the Snow Queen, and immortal, but if she can’t reassemble a shattered enchanted mirror by her eighteenth birthday she’s doomed to spend eternity as a wraith. Armed with magic granted by a ruthless wizard, Thyra schemes to survive with her mind and body intact. Unencumbered by kindness, she kidnaps local boy Kai Thorsen, whose mathematical skills rival her own. Two logical minds, Thyra calculates, are better than one. With time rapidly melting away she needs all the help she can steal. A cruel lie ensnares Kai in her plan, but three missing mirror shards and Kai’s childhood friend, Gerda, present more formidable obstacles. Thyra’s willing to do anything – venture into uncharted lands, outwit sorcerers, or battle enchanted beasts — to reconstruct the mirror, yet her most dangerous adversary lies within her breast. Touched by the warmth of a wolf pup’s devotion and the fire of a young man’s desire, the thawing of Thyra’s frozen heart could be her ultimate undoing.”

  1. I keep seeing Armentrout around and am definitely going to have to move her books up my TBR! Sometimes a boring week isn’t a bad thing so hopefully it was at least a happy boring week. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you about not working Thanksgiving or Halloween. Have a great week!

  2. Some weeks are more routine than others, Nyze, and when they’re kind of boring, it also means that nothing dramatic happened, right? (see what I did there trying to make that sound all positive? 😀 )

You got some great-looking books this week, and you were very busy on your blog, too. I hope you’ll love your new books, and that next week will be awesome 🙂

    • I love your positivity! 😀 I’m so excited with my new books and I’m really finding time to fit them all right in on my busy day. Have a great week too ♥

  3. Even though your week was normal and boring it sounds wonderful to me. Sometimes people just want normalcy when going through a sickness or something. I remember my dad was hurt a few years ago and he just wanted to do normal things again. Like cook dinner.. hell just go to the bathroom! So to me.. your week sounds fabulous!

  4. I like the instagram pic of the swirly spaghetti! And boring is good sometimes. We went from near 70 F and then yesterday it snowed all day!

  5. Four books is still a decent number of books to handle. I hope you’re enjoying Crown of Ice. I thought it was a unique take on that classic fairy tale. Have a great week and thanks for stopping by!

    • Id set a limit for getting books. Ive got tons of unread ones but I cant help it. Ive enjoyed the book. You can check my review if you want 🙂 Have a fun week 🙂

  6. Your routine is exactly like mine!! So you are not alone!! I also have Crown of Ice so I’m curious to hear what you think about it (I probably won’t read it for a while). Also I’m curious of what you think of Atlantia. I wasn’t happy with how the Matched series ended so I’m not sure if I want to take a chance on her new book. Maybe I’ll wait until it goes on sale lol. Have a great week =)

    • Ive posted my review for Crown of Ice. You read it if you want 🙂 I doubt if ill be reading Atlantia any time soon. Still have a lot lined up to read. Have a great week too. 🙂

  7. Routine is great! I am a bit slack right now, but with the weather warming up down here, I am sure I will get back into it soon! And Stone Cold Touch is a must have 😉 Enjoy your new reads!

Thanx for visiting My Weekly Wrap-Up!

  8. I do hope you don’t have to work during Christmas and New Year’s! And lol at your newly owned book statement. Believe me when I say that I know exactly how you feel about getting a book when you’re supposed to be limiting your book buys, should be feeling sorry for it but you feel exactly the opposite! lol 🙂 Happy reading. Loop looks really great! 🙂

    • I got tons lined up to read and once I’ve decided not to get books as long as I have unread ones, but it’s so hard. Like trying not to breath. LOL! Have a great week babe ♥

  9. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Crown of Ice looks interesting. I am trying to avoid spending money for books this year, which has resulted in me getting more books from the library and for review rather than simply reducing the number of new books.
