My Week in a Wrapped #14

SundayPost

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

I was with the whole family to celebrate Christmas and it was so much fun. We spent Christmas morning with my family and the evening was spent with Hubby’s. We played games, exchanged gifts of course, had beers (Yes. BEERS. I was drunk. Lol) and sing the videoke. If you’re not familiar with videoke, well it’s pretty much the karaoke. Filipinos loves to sing FYI. 😀 I didn’t get the chance to pick up a book this Christmas week so I’m still not done with Imitation and I’m afraid I’ll be able to post my review for Deviation after its released date on the 30th. Oh well. How’s your Christmas celebration? And hey, this is also my chance of greeting you all a Happy New Year! 😀

Around the Blogosphere

I want to have this part dedicated to book lovers I’m following 🙂

Newly Owned to Read

I have nothing this week. So proud of myself. Lol! Don’t get me wrong. It’s not that I don’t want to acquire new books. It’s just that I’m buried waist-deep of unread books so I’m really trying my best to finish everything first. 😀 Sorry. I’m such a hoarder. Can’t help myself most of the time. Hihi! Do you have a Sunday Post too? Please leave your links on the comment box. I’ll check them out 😀

  1. Haha, I’m a hoarder, too! My best friend made me promise her to go on a book buying ban until April 😀 As many days as I have books, which was on that day 155…
    Have a good sunday!

  2. It sounds like you had a great christmas and Videoke sounds fun, but god help us you don’t want to hear me sing 🙂

I am also a hoarder of books but didn’t get anything new this weekend but I have my eye on a few things that I might be getting this week 🙂 I just can’t help myself!

Have a great week Nyze! Happy New Year!

    • Videoke is indeed fun and that’s the thing when everybody’s drunk, they would not care if you’re singing in tune or not. Lol! I swear to not hoard books in 2015. Happy new year babe ♥

  3. I had a good Christmas with my family also. 🙂

BEERS! I had wine and champagne, we’re wild women!:P

No new books? Good for you 🙂 I had three show up from publishers while I was away, a nice surprise.

    Happy New Year!

  4. Sometimes no new books is a very good thing! Sounds like you had a good Christmas – I had margaritas so I got drunk too 😉 I’m curious about videoke, sounds fun! Good luck with your reading, I got a bit behind this week too. Happy New Year!

    • It’s a nice feeling to get drunk once in a while and videoke is a lot of fun indeed. Hihi! I swear I’m not going to hoard books in 2015. Haha! Happy New Year babe! ♥

  5. The holidays upset every person’s schedule or routine. We flew to Florida from the Northeastern US, and my sister, brother-in-law and mother had a lot of people over for Christmas. Reading was impossible – shopping was VERY possible and drinking – was a hobby for the week. Hope your new year’s eve is safe and very happy!

  6. Sounds like a fun Christmas!! We have had a videoke at our family parties but I never got up to sing (the kids and my father-in-law spent most of the time singing). I’m trying not to get anymore books but I can’t help it if they go on sale (it makes it ok then, right? lol). I hope you have a nice New Year! I know it will be a lot of fun! I was in the Philippines for Christmas/New Years and it was so loud with the fireworks!! Have a great time =)

    • Indeed a fun Christmas! Why don’t you sing babe? 🙂 I love to sing especially when everybody’s already drunk and they wouldn’t care if I’m out of tune. Lol! Discounted books always make it okay I think 😀

Oh New Year’s celebration would definitely be a blast. Have a happy new year too babe ♥

  7. Your Christmas sounds absolutely perfect, Nyze! I’m glad you had such a nice time, and hey, beer is part of the holidays, too, right?
I actually love Karaoke, too, but I have a horrible singing voice. After a couple of beers I just don’t let that stop me anymore 😉
I wish you a fantastic year for 2015, I hope it will be filled with good health, love, friendship, success and many new friends and good books.

    • That’s the fun part, when everybody’s already drunk they wouldn’t care if you’re out of tune. Lol! Wishing you love, happiness and prosperity for the coming year babe and more books too! Happy New Year ♥

  8. Glad to hear you had a good Christmas!

I too am always proud of myself when I resist buying books…however I failed greatly this week! I’m going to be trying very hard next year to get through a big chunk of my unread books rather than buying new ones!

I hope you have a lovely New Years! =)

  9. I miss videoke sessions! It’s been too long since I had one. lol 🙂 Happy New Year! And even though you have no newbie books this last week, I’m proud of your restraint in book buying. 🙂
