The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
I’m (slowly) getting back on the grind. Thank God! Finished a couple of books, but still haven’t started doing the reviews. So much for getting back right? Lol! I miss checking blogs. Haven’t done it in a long time. Hopefully, this week when I finish all my reviews. Yeah, that’s hopefully. I’m still into Clash of Clans and Hay Day. I am such a kiddo. I never aged. Got stuck to being a toddler. I mean mentally. I guess. Lol! Anyway, everything’s cool so far. Preparing for my son’s graduation on the 27th. 😀 They’ve started practicing and he’s so excited. He wants new clothes and shoes so we’ll be getting them on Tuesday, I think. I’ll take him shopping so he can choose what he wants. So proud of my little man. Knows what he wants and already doing stuff independently. I think he needs to be patient with me though ’cause I still won’t have him get away with certain things so easily. Lol! How’s your week? 😀

I used to be one of those girls. The kind who loved to deliver bad news. When I colored my hair, I imagined it seeping into my scalp, black dye pooling into my veins. But that was the old Lacy. Now, when I cast spells, they are always for good. 16-year-old Lacy believes that magic and science can work side by side. She’s a botanist who knows how to harness the healing power of plants. So when her father dies, Lacy tries to stay with her step-mother in Chico, where her magic is good and healing. She fears the darkness that her real mother, Cheyenne, brings out, stripping away everything that is light and kind. Yet Cheyenne never stays away for long. Beautiful, bewitching, unstable Cheyenne who will stop at nothing, not even black magic, to keep control of her daughter’s heart. She forces Lacy to accompany her to Sacramento, and before long, the “old” Lacy starts to resurface. But when Lacy survives a traumatic encounter, she finds herself faced with a choice. Will she use her powers to exact revenge and spiral into the darkness forever? Or will she find the strength to embrace the light?

When my heart was wicked seems interesting. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts.
Thank you so much for mentioning me x
Intriguing so far and a bit dark so I like it 🙂 No biggie on the mention babe ♥
You’ve got yourself books with beautiful covers, they’re tempting ^^ I have trouble writing reviews after I read books lately, so I forced myself to write them asap and (so far…) it works 😉 Enjoy and have fun !
I love their gorgeous covers! Believe me, I tried composing reviews after finishing them, but that’s when I can’t put my thoughts together. Haha! Have a great week ♥
I’m not familiar with the new books you got this week, but they all have such pretty covers. Hope you have a great week!

Thanks for the shout-out! Also, Emissary and City of Fae both look really good. I’ll have to check them out!
No biggie babe! Yeah. I heard good stuff about both of them so I requested 🙂
So many pretty books! Hope you enjoy them all! Good luck with your son’s graduation and the getting new clothes part. I hate shopping for kids clothes when I’m looking for something specific. It always seems like I can find everything but what I’m looking for. Have a great week!
I love my new haul! ♥ I’ll let him pick what he wants so I don’t have to stress myself. Lol! My kiddo knows what he wants and he’s got style mind you. 🙂 Have a great week ♥
Love the cover of When My Heart was Wicked. Seeing our children grow up and become independent is bittersweet. Hope your week is amazing.
Yeah. Love the cover! Exactly what I have in mind. My son is still sweet though. Have a great week ahead ♥

Gah!! You received Emissary!! I’m super excited for you and this one; it’s not your typical warm fuzzy fantasy though; it’s real high fantasy if that makes any sense 😛
Anyway, how exciting for your little man! I can only imagine the joy and fulfillment you are finding in this milestone! 😀
Any fantasy read would do babe. I’m excited to read it. 🙂
