Teaser Tuesday #43

I’ve decided to join this ’cause I think it’s pretty fun and easy. Plus I really want to quote smart retorts, full blown bullying, words of wisdom, swoon worthy lines and the like without giving much to readers about the entire book. A quote or two won’t hurt I guess.

So here’s how it works:
1. Grab your current read.
2. Randomly open a page.
3. Share two (2) “teaser” sentences.
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (Make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
4. Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists.

Here’s the Teasers 😀

“I’d found old clippings. “People go out there and don’t come back.” the county sheriff said ominously, way back 1922. A soldier named Ruben Dunbar was recorded AWOL, but the truth was that he’d simply disappeared. Poof!”

“Fifty bucks a game to blow away zombies? “When I win the lottery buddy,” Mom likes to say. Grandma is even worse. ” Wish in one hand, spit in the other, and see which gets full the first.” She has a million sayings like that.

It’s too early to tell if the book will turn out good. Quite intriguing though and I can’t help thinking about my own Granny with teaser two. Lol! What do you think about the teasers? Do you have a Teaser Tuesday post too? Comment your link so I can check it out and have an idea of books you’re currently reading. 😀
