End of Days is the explosive conclusion to Susan Ee’s bestselling Penryn & the End of Days trilogy. After a daring escape from the angels, Penryn and Raffe are on the run. They’re both desperate to find a doctor who can reverse the twisted changes inflicted by the angels on Raffe and Penryn’s sister. As they set off in search of answers, a startling revelation about Raffe’s past unleashes dark forces that threaten them all. When the angels release an apocalyptic nightmare onto humans, both sides are set on a path toward war. As unlikely alliances form and strategies shift, who will emerge victorious? Forced to pick sides in the fight for control of the earthly realm, Raffe and Penryn must choose: Their own kind, or each other?

I’m sorry, but I dropped all my current read the moment this hit my Kindle. At long last. Finally. OMG. After like ages. I have this. I can’t wait to devour this awesomeness. It’s kind of bittersweet though since this would be the last book. It was previously revealed that this was a five-book series so I was expecting to read more. I’m still so excited nonetheless. Anyway, here’s a five star, three star and one star review respectively. Got them from book lovers on Goodreads. 😀

Great ending to a fantastic series! Penryn is ladened with the responsibility of not only keeping her family safe but also the entire human race? Tough task for a 17 year old. Those who have read the first two of this series will definitely be pleased with the ending, as much as we don’t want to see it end. So much thought was put into the World After and all its characters it was a great read with a satisfying ending. We see character development- some predictable and some not, back stories, and action packed fighting!

I don’t know, I kind of felt underwhelmed by the ending. Too many problems were wrapped up too neatly and with little substance. The world is destroyed by bloodthirsty, savage angels, 90% of humanity is dead, and many of the few who are left have been experimented on and turned into monsters… The war finally ends and I’m supposed to believe everything is A-OK for Penryn and her family because the power of love trumps all? lolwut

Disappointing. Penryn and Raffe’s clever dialog was missing, and the romance felt rushed. Overall a well-written series with a miserable conclusion.

A lot has been fangirling, but there were few who’s kind of disappointed with how it ended. That only made me more excited to read the book. See reading these different views is thrilling for me, given that the series has gained a great deal of followers since day one because it’s really amazing. Claudia {Sparrowhawk} of My Soul Called Life and I will be having a joint review so watch out for that. Happy reading to me for now! Meanwhile, I’ll leave you with this photo.. THE FEELS! 😀
