Let’s put S to Dessert

I have been browsing my Instagram and blog feed for desserts I would love to try for the Foodie part of my blog since I haven’t explored new food joints for God knows when. I’m caught up in reading pretty much all the time and work, of course. Yeah. Lame. So I’ll just go daydreaming and feeling jealous about these mouth watering goodness that’s all over my feed.

Class 302This is from Class 302, which is an authentic Taiwanese place from California. Not your plain crispy cream puff though. It comes with a cream tube that you’ll have the pleasure of squeezing cream right into your puff. Pretty fun right? And, yummy too! Got it from IPhoneSeeFood.

Certified Baconatics

I woke up today feeling utterly craving for bacon. I can eat bacon forever. I once watched a television program called The United States of Food with Chef Todd Fisher, I think, featuring a special episode where he traveled around the United States and tried dishes having bacon to be the main ingredient. That’s the first thing that came into my mind. How I remember drooling while watching it. Just recalling it makes me want to drool again. Like bacon had me hypnotized. This is so unreal.

Don’t mind the premiere time because I believe the premiere of this TV show was July of 2012, if I’m not mistaken. I’m not pretty sure if this is still being aired on TLC.

  • He’d gone to Slaters 50/50 in Huntington Beach, California and tried their famous B’ B’ B’ Bacon

It has 100% bacon patty, ground up beef-style grilled on an open flame, a pile of bacon, toasted fresh bacon pretzel bun, layers of bacon American cheese, a sunny side up egg and tapped with creamy bacon island dressing. The burger is impaled with a steak knife so you can slice it up since I’m not certain how it will fit your mouth. Oh. God. Heaven.

Trying on Snapseed..

I’m recently inspired to do street and food photography after meeting an awesome friend, Jermaine, via Instagram, Whopianomedia. I swear his feed is truly amazing. I have also featured his Instagram account on one of my recent posts, My Top Foodies on Instagram, so I must say that he inspired me a lot really. After trying out so many applications to enhance my photos, I have stumbled upon an application that he is also using, Snapseed. I’m not pretty sure if Snapseed has been in the business for long because I would definitely feel a whole lot of loser if I just came across with it. It’s a pain in the A at first since I’m clueless on how to use it, but then as cliche as it is.. practice makes perfect. Well, not really perfect since I’m still getting the hang of it.

I have tried it on food shots:

My Top Foodies on Instagram

Instagram brought me to this place wherein photography mixes with my love for food. I have been a photographer wanna be for as long as I can remember and lack for financial support on this little hobby of mine frustrates me more. Have not even had a decent camera ever so I am left to make so much out of my cheapanggang mobile phone. Thank heavens for applications wherein you can edit your photos and enhance them like a pro (That would be discuss on a different post. ).

I have met several people on Instagram whose accounts are to die for, they’re travelers and foodies. I’m dead serious about me saying that their accounts are a must browse and because of their amazing photos, my feed looks like a menu on a high end restaurant. It’s a plus that they’re actually following back and replying to comments posted on their photos. I will be just posting a couple of them, not necessarily my favorites though because believe me I had a hard time choosing among their awesome photos. Ready for their snippets? Drum roll please.. 🙂

1. WHOPIANOMEDIA

I learned that he is a fellow Filipino who’s currently residing in California. He’s an autoCAD technician and a big eater for real. Mafia style. LOL! :))

“My only day to venture around Seattle..it was only right for me to find the most reviewed breakfast spot on yelp. Came across Toulouse Petit, a Cajun/creole joint. Table for one please. Chowin down on a oyster & bacon benedict.
