Let’s put S to Dessert

I have been browsing my Instagram and blog feed for desserts I would love to try for the Foodie part of my blog since I haven’t explored new food joints for God knows when. I’m caught up in reading pretty much all the time and work, of course. Yeah. Lame. So I’ll just go daydreaming and feeling jealous about these mouth watering goodness that’s all over my feed.

Class 302This is from Class 302, which is an authentic Taiwanese place from California. Not your plain crispy cream puff though. It comes with a cream tube that you’ll have the pleasure of squeezing cream right into your puff. Pretty fun right? And, yummy too! Got it from IPhoneSeeFood.

Trying on Snapseed..

I’m recently inspired to do street and food photography after meeting an awesome friend, Jermaine, via Instagram, Whopianomedia. I swear his feed is truly amazing. I have also featured his Instagram account on one of my recent posts, My Top Foodies on Instagram, so I must say that he inspired me a lot really. After trying out so many applications to enhance my photos, I have stumbled upon an application that he is also using, Snapseed. I’m not pretty sure if Snapseed has been in the business for long because I would definitely feel a whole lot of loser if I just came across with it. It’s a pain in the A at first since I’m clueless on how to use it, but then as cliche as it is.. practice makes perfect. Well, not really perfect since I’m still getting the hang of it.

I have tried it on food shots:

My Top Foodies on Instagram

Instagram brought me to this place wherein photography mixes with my love for food. I have been a photographer wanna be for as long as I can remember and lack for financial support on this little hobby of mine frustrates me more. Have not even had a decent camera ever so I am left to make so much out of my cheapanggang mobile phone. Thank heavens for applications wherein you can edit your photos and enhance them like a pro (That would be discuss on a different post. ).

I have met several people on Instagram whose accounts are to die for, they’re travelers and foodies. I’m dead serious about me saying that their accounts are a must browse and because of their amazing photos, my feed looks like a menu on a high end restaurant. It’s a plus that they’re actually following back and replying to comments posted on their photos. I will be just posting a couple of them, not necessarily my favorites though because believe me I had a hard time choosing among their awesome photos. Ready for their snippets? Drum roll please.. 🙂

1. WHOPIANOMEDIA

I learned that he is a fellow Filipino who’s currently residing in California. He’s an autoCAD technician and a big eater for real. Mafia style. LOL! :))

“My only day to venture around Seattle..it was only right for me to find the most reviewed breakfast spot on yelp. Came across Toulouse Petit, a Cajun/creole joint. Table for one please. Chowin down on a oyster & bacon benedict.

Being creative this Halloween

I know this is a bit tinny winny late, but I so missed blogging since I haven’t blog in a while. My last blog post is exactly two months ago, I believed. Nevertheless, I’m back! 🙂

I got so many ideas to post, but I will start from spending Halloween, I guess. I have not gone at a cemetery to visit relatives who passed away because I’m kind of feeling a bit under the weather, which is so lame since my three days off from work has been approved. So there, I’m stuck watching cartoons at home. Yeah, I know it’s not really normal that you watch cartoons while everybody’s watching horror stuff.

I. Don’t. Like. Watching. Horror. Stuff. Especially. If. It’s. Halloween. I couldn’t stress it more. LOL! Nightmares are the least that I want to have. Go KungFu Panda ♥ No Halloween parties this time too so out of pure boredom, I looked for something fun to do other than watching cartoons.

Tiles, Filters and Me

I was so bored last night that I thought of editing some of my photos for fun. I envy those people who has the Instagram application though since  I can’t have it downloaded. I only have a smart phone and it’s neither an iPhone nor an Android so I edit my photos manually. Before, I have had my photos edited through Picnik.com but the website was closed I think mid April. They have moved their application on Google+ which I think is boring so I rarely use it. Then I found a photo editor site which is more interesting that Picnik. Picmonkey it is Ü You don’t need to register to use the site and it’s very user-friendly unlike some photo editor sites that would need a lot of thinking before you can edit photos. The website’s still free as of this time. At this time indeed because  I think some of the cute options and filters will be paid features soon.

I have filters on my phone as well but I want my photos to be somehow Instagramified and Picmonkey has some filters and options that will have your photos like it was edited from the famous app. Here’s some of my photos edited from the site Ü

I have already learned how to play around with all the filters for the photos to look even better like mixing up the filters and the options. The tiles were not from the site though. Nice right? Look it up and then try it for yourself. Enjoy editing while the cool features are still free to use. Go.. Instagramified your photos Ü
