Mysterious. Magnificent. Creepy. Welcome to Rockford Manor.
“There’s something hidden in the Maze.” Seventeen-year-old Imogen has never forgotten the last words her father said to her seven years ago, before the blazing fire that consumed him, her mother, and the gardens of her family’s English country manor. Haunted by her parents’ deaths, Imogen moves to New York City with her new guardians. But when a letter arrives with the news of her cousin’s untimely death, revealing that Imogen is now the only heir left to run the estate, she returns to England and warily accepts her role as duchess.
All is not as it seems at Rockford, and Imogen quickly learns that dark secrets lurk behind the mansion’s aristocratic exterior, hinting that the spate of deaths in her family were no accident. And at the center of the mystery is Imogen herself–and Sebastian, the childhood friend she has secretly loved for years. Just what has Imogen walked into?

I’ve been seeing this a lot lately so I checked it out and got intrigued right away. I’m not into the mystery/thriller genre, but when I’ve read Don’t Look Back, I thought why not? A different genre won’t hurt once in a while. Also, this falls under fantasy anyway. The book cover looks amazing. Don’t you think? 🙂 I’ve heard this is available on NetGalley for an eARC, but I’m unsure if I’ll be requesting it. It always left me brokenhearted every time I’m denied. LOL. Anyway, I found this awesome giveaway from Lindsay of Young Adult Hollywood and it really got me excited. 😀

Tried looking for blog tours, but haven’t found any yet. Perhaps they’re still organizing it. For book tours, I only found one which will be on December 11th, 2014 at Barnes & Noble 3rd Street Promenade 1201 3rd Street Promenade Santa Monica, CA.

There.. I think I’ve covered everything. I’ll update this whenever I’ll find something new until this will be released. So always check back when you’re free. Okay? By the way, care to share the books you’re dying to read? Comment and I’ll check on it. 😀

  1. OMG! It’s Alexandra Monir!! Thank you for this or I wouldn’t have known she will have a new book. My favorite is her Timeless book series. Until now, I still hope for the 3rd book = More Philip Walker! I have to check this one out too! 🙂

  3. I’ve vaguely recall seeing this on Netgalley too. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like my thing. I don’t maybe it will. I’ll have read reviews first in order to determine. I love the cover, though. eerie. I’m very curious as to why the plants have turned purple. 😉

  4. I am so excited for this one! I’ve already heard so many good things and it sounds like it has my favorite things; romance, mystery, an almost fantasy element. It just sounds so good!

Great pick and thanks for stopping by The Story Goes…
