What is more important to you when you are deciding to read a book?
I always consider if it’s something on the fantasy genre ’cause that’s pretty much what interests me more above all. I’m not saying that I’m not up to any other genres though. I venture to some once in a while too, but I want to read something I would enjoy so I check for fantasy books first. The book cover comes second. By now, I’m pretty sure you know that right?

Ha, perfect meme! And very true to me as well. You have to play Scrabble with other Fantasy fans who are okay with you using those words.

Genre is also what I use as my “ruler” for choosing what book I will read.
That seems to be main reason for many folks.
